LaTonya Davis

CREATOR | PRODUCER | CHIEF BREAST TALKER

LaTonya is a triple negative breast cancer survivor who lost both her mother and only sister to the disease.

As a former collegiate sprinter, LaTonya approached cancer as an opponent who was strong and intimidating -- but beatable. As a corporate marketer, she managed luxury wine & spirit portfolios including, Dom Perignon, Moet & Chandon, Hennessy and Absolut Elyx. The willpower to win races, a love of storytelling and an unerring creative eye has prepared this advocate, entrepreneur, fashionista and NPR How I Built This Summit inaugural fellow for her favorite brand management role to date, a new podcast, "The Breast Talk Ever," a platform offering the collective voices of enterprising survivors.

LaTonya, now raising Jayden, her sister's only child, resides in Miami Beach.

ERIC BEGAY

AUDIO ENGINEERING

Eric is a native Arizonian who lives in Fort Worth, Texas with his wife, Heidi, and their two cats, Maestro and Gizmo. He studied Music Business and Audio Production at The University of Arizona, and graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2007. He loves collecting electric guitars and playing in local blues bands. Lastly, he is a fan of super hot salsa, Tex-Mex food, sushi, and fly fishing.

GENE PAUL GAYOL

SOUND DESIGN & THEME SONG COMPOSER

Gene was born and raised in Miami, Fl and has 15+ years experience working professionally in music in both Los Angeles and Miami. He has recorded or performed with Latin Grammy & Platinum award-winning artists such as Marc Anthony, Alejandro Sanz, David Bisbal, Diego Torres & Jorge Villamizar. He currently accompanies three-time Latin Grammy-winning singer Diego Torres. In 2020 Sony Music Latin released “Amanece”. Recorded by Diego Torres featuring other artists, Amanece is a song of hope co-written by Gene with Jorge Villamizar- writer behind some of the biggest latin hits of the past 20 years.

JAYDEN HOLMES

BASS GUITARIST ON THEME SONG

Jayden Holmes is a 15-year-old bassist who lives in Miami Beach, FL. Jayden has been playing bass for almost three years and truly wants to alter music’s current state. He is saddened by the fact that some question if rock is dead. Jayden wants to write and play music that will make people feel that every genre is immortal. He wants music lovers to know that their favorite sounds live forever.

He realized when he started playing that he wanted to do more than just play covers. This is why for the past two years Jayden has been focusing on his sound and style. Jayden’s vibe is filled with subtle nods to his musical idols. Musicians such as Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth, Tina Weymouth of the Talking Heads and Peter Hook of Joy Division can be found in his music. Genres such as Post-Punk, Shoegaze, Alternative and Pop can also be heard.

Jayden hasn’t released any music yet but intends to come out with an EP within the next three years. In addition to working on his personal music Jayden keeps busy jamming with peer musicians. He is a proud member of Guitars Over Guns and has played various gigs as the bassist in the Alumni Band. Two of his most notable gigs were at the Ball and Chain Café and the Guitars Over Guns Benefit Concert. Jayden devotes every song and note he plays to his biggest fans, his parents in heaven and his aunt that is raising him.
